If you are thinking about a career in coffee, are a coffee enthusiast or simply want to learn more about a more about its historical grounding, then this course is for you!
This course offers you the perfect chance to to get stuck into the basics and learn about the history of the humble coffee bean; charting its journey from its origin to the major commodity that it is today. From farming, processing, roasting, brewing and finally drinking, this module explores in depth the journey from farm to cup. The course also includes a coffee cupping session which allows you to sample the wide range of flavours that coffee has to offer.

SCA Barista Skills Foundation is a 3-hour long course.
An optional SCA certified exam at an additional cost of £30 will take place at end of the course. This will earn you 10 points towards your Coffee Skills Programme.
