If you’re thinking about a career as a barista, or simply want to learn more about espresso-based coffee, then this course is for you!
This course is designed to introduce core barista skills to individuals with no previous professional experience and familiarise you with espresso machinery. Working on professional equipment, you will learn the basics of calibrating a grinder and espresso machine along with dosing, tamping and most importantly tasting. You will learn how to steam and pour milk to produce attractive, creamy Lattes, Cappuccinos and Flat Whites.
You will finish the 6hr course able to make the full range of espresso-based drinks with confidence and efficiency.

SCA Barista Skills Foundation is a 6 hour long course.
This course is globally accredited via the Speciality Coffee Association (SCA) and you can take the optional SCA Certified Exam at the end of the day at an additional cost of £50 which will earn you 5 points towards your Coffee Skills Programme.
